The government of India has given many opportunities till now to link PAN with Aadhaar. Initially, the end date for this was fixed by the government till March 31, 2022. It was later extended till March 31, 2023, with a fee of Rs 1,000. Now again the deadline to link Aadhaar with PAN was extended till June 30, 2023.
In such a situation, only a few days are left to link your PAN with Aadhaar, if you do not do this, then you may face many difficulties in the future in many government works. To link these two documents, you will have to go through this process by paying Rs 1,000.
Select the authorized bank for payment
To make a payment of one thousand rupees, you can use Axis Bank, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, City Union Bank, Federal Bank, ICICI Bank, IDBI Bank, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, IndusInd Bank, You can choose from Jammu & Kashmir Bank, Karur Vysya Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Punjab National Bank, UCO Bank and Union Bank of India.
Follow this step
First, go to https://eportal.incometax.gov.in/ and click on Link Aadhaar from the Quick Links section
Enter PAN and Aadhaar number and click on Validate
Verify using the OTP received and click on the Income Tax tile
Select Assessment Year 2023-24 and Payment Type as Other Receipts (500) and click on Continue
For another box the amount of Rs 1000 will be pre-filled, click on Continue
Select the mode of payment on the next page which will redirect to the website of the selected bank
Complete the payment to link your PAN with your Aadhaar
