Pls don’t go to the kitchen and near the flame, immediately after using hand sanitizer. It contains spirit in rich quantity, and therefore is highly flammable.
An incident has reported and hands of one lady got burnt badly.
There is alcoholic and non-alcoholic sanitizer.
To minimize the risk of fire, alcohol rub users are instructed to rub their hands until it dry, which indicates that the flammable alcohol has evaporated. Fire departments suggest refills for the alcohol-based hand sanitizers can be stored with cleaning supplies away from heat sources or open flames.
